Working under teamwork and oversight, this role participates in responsible operations of the plant and its supporting equipment and systems. Standard design of chemical systems performing chemical engineering functions in the execution of assigned environmental, safety, and process safety project in a cross-functional work team.
Provides regulatory expertise, coaching, and hands-on support to drive environmental compliance and permitting, regulatory reviews, performs required activities to maintain compliance with air, water, solid waste. Activities include preparing permit applications amendments and renewals, regulatory reports, defining programs and procedures, maintaining records, and training.
This role acts as liaison with external clients and internal stakeholders to maintain ongoing communication regarding order status and post shipment requirements.
The Operations Engineer role supports the operation of the Bay 1 and Bay 2 units at Baystar – Bayport Polymers. The Operations Engineer acts as a technical resource for Bay 1 and Bay 2 operations personnel, applies technical skills to optimize unit operations, to implement and commission yield improvement and cost saving projects, and participates in procedure reviews and development, operator training, and site qualification efforts.
This role is responsible for developing and executing product optimization strategies across short-, medium-, and long-term horizons to maximize profitability (EBITDA / Cash Flow), enhance asset returns, and balance strategic objectives with tactical priorities. The four major profitability levers are: Price, Volume, Asset Utilization and Inventory. Through strong collaboration across business units, see continuous improvement in existing processes, driving business planning, product portfolio management, cost optimization, and long-term strategic initiatives.
In this role, you will perform in-depth analyses of production volumes, inventories, sales performance, product costing, and profitability to drive strategic decision-making and business improvements across the Ethylene-Polyethylene envelope. Collaborating closely with the Product Manager – Polyethylene, Olefins Manager, and teams across the Business Optimization and Supply Chain subfunctions (Olefins, Technical Service and Supply Chain), your work will support key processes such as S&OP scenario planning, budgeting, long-term planning, and ad hoc simulations. You will also lead targeted initiatives, develop advanced analytical tools, and deliver actionable recommendations to optimize business performance over multiple time horizons.
The Supervisor, Accounting will supervise employees responsible for coordination and management of the Financial Accounting monthly close process, the preparation and distribution of related monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements for internal\external use, and fixed assets processing. Performs, supervises, and delegates tasks in the areas of general corporate accounting, financial reporting, and fixed assets. The Supervisor, Accounting interacts with all departments – in particular Accounting, Supply Chain, Operations, HR, IT, and executive management – to ensure accuracy of data, and will apply principles of accounting to assess financial information and prepare financial reports under the direction of the Manager, Accounting. The Supervisor, Accounting also is a key leader in the continual transformation of the Baystar Accounting function with an emphasis on process streamlining & automation and implementation of the latest data extraction and processing technologies, such as PowerBI and Cloud Analytical tools.
The Sr. Production Engineering role oversees operation of Bay 1, Bay 2 or Bay 3 unit at Baystar – Bayport Polymers. The Sr. Production Engineer acts as a lead technical resource for operations personnel, applies technical skills to optimize plant operations, to implement and commission yield improvement and cost saving projects, participates in procedure reviews and development, operator training, and site qualification efforts.
The FP&A Manager is responsible for managing the Financial Planning & Analysis team, providing critical financial insights and support to the business. This role will manage the interfaces between the key stakeholders in the organization (e.g. Operations, Business Optimization & Supply Chain, Commercial, etc.) and Finance to provide in-depth financial analysis and to support documented decision-making.

BASIC FUNCTION
This position supports the continuous manufacture of quality high density polyethylene (HDPE) and specialty fluids (HDA), consistent with high standards of quality, safety, housekeeping, and good employee relations. The Sr. Maintenance Engineer has oversight of equipment technical documentation, collaborating with the project team to ensure proper equipment installation and preventive maintenance plans, coordinating critical spare parts, documentation, and storage. This position will be a technical resource for plant wide mechanical/reliability initiatives, with the objective of continuously improving reliability and health, safety, environmental and loss control performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the engineering and initiate estimates for installation of projects and improvements within the Maintenance Department. Ensure Special Projects and issues are evaluated, performed, and completed in a timely manner
• Ensure appropriate planning and scheduling of work for all maintenance activities
• Update and organize documentation for the reliability and mechanical integrity programs
• Participation in reliability and mechanical integrity teams to ensure internal and external customer needs are supported
• Continuously improve the reliability and mechanical integrity programs with the objective of cost-effectively improving equipment reliability
• Assist maintenance and operations in troubleshooting mechanical problems
• Support other Maintenance Engineers and Staff as required
• Support reliability specialist, maintenance supervisors, maintenance planners, millwrights, and inspectors
• Assist with shop and outside repairs of rotating and fixed equipment to identify the root cause of failure. Engineer changes and/or adapt the reliability and mechanical integrity programs as needed to prevent or predict future failures
• Understand, support, and comply with all plant safety policies and procedures including the use of loss control software for loss control reporting and communication
• Contribute to continuous improvement by offering suggestions for long term solutions to minimize costs, improve reliability, and improve loss control performance
• Supply data for periodic reports on reliability Key Performance Indicators
• Position requires on-call duties, and the successful candidate must be able to respond 24/7, 100% of the time to plant emergencies on short notice, including nights, weekends, and holidays

PHYSICAL CAPACITY REQUIREMENTS
This position requires the incumbent to:
• Follow site safety requirements for the role and wear mandatory FRC and PPE (foot, head, ear, eye, hand, and fall protection) when inside plant environment or where directed by signage or procedure
• Read and understand technical documents and procedures in English
• Specific vision abilities include near, far, and intermediate distances, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
• Required to work at ground level, from ladders, and from heights greater than 250’ above grade on fixed platforms, mobile equipment platforms, and scaffolding
