Working under teamwork and general oversight, this role provides a full working knowledge of operational and safety procedures related to plant equipment and plant operations, with the objective of ensuring maximum productivity.
The Sr. Production Engineering role oversees operation of Bay 1, Bay 2 or Bay 3 unit at Baystar – Bayport Polymers. The Sr. Production Engineer acts as a lead technical resource for operations personnel, applies technical skills to optimize plant operations, to implement and commission yield improvement and cost saving projects, participates in procedure reviews and development, operator training, and site qualification efforts.
The FP&A JR Analyst is responsible for providing financial insights and support to the business. The analyst will act as an interface between the key stakeholders in the organization (e.g. Operations, Business Optimization & Supply Chain, Commercial) and Finance to provide solid and documented decision-making.
The FP&A Manager is responsible for managing the Financial Planning & Analysis team, providing critical financial insights and support to the business. This role will manage the interfaces between the key stakeholders in the organization (e.g. Operations, Business Optimization & Supply Chain, Commercial, etc.) and Finance to provide in-depth financial analysis and to support documented decision-making.
This position will provide Instrument and Electrical support for the continuous manufacture of quality high density polyethylene (HDPE) and specialty fluids (HDA), consistent with high standards of quality, safety, housekeeping, and good employee relations. Provide support for all Baystar’s manufacturing facilities.
BASIC FUNCTION
Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot rotating equipment. This position supports the continuous manufacture of quality high density polyethylene (HDPE) and specialty fluids (HDA), consistent with high standards of quality, safety, housekeeping, and good employee relations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
General
• Works under general supervision
• Performs routine as well as non-routine work on plant and manufacturing equipment
• Performs tasks on all rotating equipment
• Must have skills in aligning pumps, couplings, and motors
• Perform basic troubleshooting
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
• Understand, support, and comply with all plant safety policies and procedures, including Lock-Out / Tag-Out (LOTO), hot work, fall protection, traffic, lifting and rigging, confined space entry, and line break

Technical
• Assembly, disassembly, and alignment of mechanical equipment
• General understanding and basic ability to assess the daily operation of various types of equipment including centrifuges, reciprocating and centrifugal compressors, agitators, extruders, screw feeders, blowers, pumps, fans, and other mechanical equipment. Based on assessment, provide recommendations to improve reliability
• Able to read and interpret procedures, design specifications and tolerances, and mechanical drawings and schematics
• Maintain equipment to design specifications. Replace pump seals, mechanical seals, and pump packing
• Provide proper alignment for all rotating equipment using laser alignment tools
• Perform preventative/predictive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of problems. Determine material needs, sequence of operations, and job methods including the use of a computer for storing and using information for preventive/predictive maintenance
• Be familiar with SAP, warehouse parts management, design specifications, and applicable procedures.

BASIC FUNCTION
The Regional Sales Manager is a key contributor to the implementation of the company’s polymer sales strategy. This regional manager maintains contact with customers (accounts) assigned within a geographic area and is responsible for executing day-to-day sales activities as they apply to those accounts. • Follow site safety requirements for the role and wear mandatory FRC and PPE (foot, head, ear, eye, hand, and fall protection) when inside plant environment or where directed by signage or procedure

BASIC FUNCTION
Provide technical support to the electrical, instrumentation, and analyzer activities of the HDPE and HDA plants, and general facilities, with the objective of continuously improving reliability and health, safety, environmental and loss control performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Position General
• Provide technical support to the Maintenance I&E Supervisor, electricians, instrumentation and analyzer technicians, operations, and maintenance engineers, and DCS specialists
• Assist Operations in troubleshooting instrument, analyzer, and electrical problems
• Provide engineering assistance for the justification, design, and installation of capital projects
• Assist with outage planning and execution for planned and unplanned outages
• Assist in performing surveillance of repairs involving outside vendors
• Assist in maintaining accurate and current equipment file room documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement by offering suggestions for long-term solutions to minimize costs, improve reliability, and improve loss control performance
• Understand, support and comply with all plant safety policies and procedures including the use of loss control software for loss control reporting and communication
• Position requires flexibility with work schedule to accommodate plant needs, and performing “on-call“ function by periodically being 100% available 24/7
• Utilize software to observe and monitor PLC system status and assist with logic changes
• Assist with the administration of the process control computer and network systems including software and antivirus patching, hardware upgrades, and troubleshooting
• Interface with CenterPoint and Industrial neighbors for maintenance activities in the Hunter Substation
• Continually manage the addition and revision of spare parts for Electrical, Instrumentation and Analyzer (E/I/A) equipment
• Create and revise preventive and predictive maintenance plans
• Participate in quality assurance and commissioning of new equipment as needed
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering
• 0 - 5 years of experience as a plant electrical engineer required
• Computer proficient (MS Office, MS Project, SAP)
• Excellent verbal/written communication
• Ability to plan and manage multiple issues/projects simultaneously
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
• 5 + years of experience preferred
